You sing the high and I’ll sing the low. We’ll harmonize to the rock and roll.
— Chris Juhlin "Reckless Beauty"

Chris’s road has been one part charmed and one part laced with die-hard empathy. Enticed by the land of the midnight sun (Alaska/Yukon), he graduated from college and left his home in Idaho to wander the north. With an acoustic guitar in tow he continued to travel and write, and after a few years, crafted his first two albums Last Train to Joy and Acoustic Sun. Not long after he headed to the quirky pastures of Portland, Oregon, where he lives today.

After fronting the Portland band Kalida for years he is now supporting a solo album (August 2022) with the help of some friends in Colorado (Broken Land) and some of Portland’s best session players. His newest album Thrive is churning out roots rock with a singer songwriter emphasis and a dose of bluegrass, funk, and soul.
